UKRAINE: FETAL STEM CELL PIONEERS

A new documentary by Eric Merola. Ukraine: Fetal Stem Cell Pioneers is a documentary covering the only group of scientists on earth practicing the human clinical application of fetal stem cells—in Kyiv, Ukraine. Aside from taking a deep dive into the science behind this technology, this story follows American patients from 2005 to present day—patients diagnosed with everything from muscular dystrophy, Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, and autism.  All of these patients traveled from the USA to Ukraine to receive this medical innovation.

For most of these patients, fetal stem cell therapy in Ukraine has been allowing them to live normal lives—something western medicine has been unable to offer them. The Russian invasion of Ukraine has since disrupted their lives and the ability for people from around the world to have access to this life-saving technology. 

This project was set to be released in April of 2022, but the Russian invasion has forced the producers to alter the project's timeline to include current events. Ukraine: Fetal Stem Cell Pioneers will include Eric Merola traveling from the USA with seven other Americans from the documentary to Kyiv, Ukraine during the Russian occupation. 

~ Where the money is going: $25,000 commercial release; $15,000 publicist; $20,000 musical score; $15,000 additional expenses. Scheduled release date: April, 2023. Funding goals must be met by February, 2023.
